A Ukrainian suffered from fraudsters in the Telegram application. Hackers created an account in which they advertised a new token, which showed steady growth throughout the advertising campaign. The thirst for easy money prompted the man to make his first investment of $1,000 in this token. The next day, the token price rose even more. The man was happy and invested another $500. On the third day, the token price continued to grow and the Ukrainian invested another $500 in this new token. Only on the fourth day, calculating his potential profit, the unlucky investor decided to withdraw his investment. But nothing worked out for him. As it turned out, this fraudulent blockchain allowed you to enter funds, but without the ability to withdraw. In total, the man lost $2,000.
It is not yet known how many grief-stricken investors fell into this trap. There may be hundreds, or even thousands. Be that as it may, but investing in cryptocurrency outside the official exchange permitted in your country is a very risky business. Most likely, you will lose all your investments.
The Internet, on various forums, is full of information from affected investors. And buying tokens on dubious sites is far from the only way to steal your money. You need to remember this and not trust new coins that have just appeared. Only when these coins get to a certified exchange, only then can you pay attention to them.
