The young people complained about illegal actions by a Moscow police officer. During the arrest and stay in the pre-trial detention center, the police officer, having gained access to the suspects' phones, withdrew all their cryptocurrency. The passwords to the crypto wallet were in the phone's photo gallery, so the police officer was able to easily get them.
At today's exchange rate, the amount of losses is more than $70,000. According to the victims, these were all their savings for buying an apartment. Now they will have to forget about this purchase for a long time. The young people wrote a statement to the prosecutor's office.
Investigative actions are currently underway. The name of the police officer has not been disclosed, but, apparently, such cases are numerous in Russia. People are simply afraid for their lives and freedom and do not report these incidents.
