Kostya Kudo, one of the co-founders of Cryptology Key Trading Academy and Key Screener, was found shot dead in his Lamborghini Urus. According to various sources, he allegedly lost tens of millions of dollars due to the collapse of the cryptocurrency market on the eve of his death. Sources say that we are talking about at least thirty million in cryptocurrency, and in total, the crypto trader managed assets worth about $65 million.
The police are considering the possibility of suicide, as a gun registered to him was found in the car. Interestingly, no phone was found near his body, and the phone contained passwords and access to all wallets. Therefore, among other things, there is a theory about pressure on Kudo from certain politicians and law enforcement officials who collaborated with the deceased and invested funds obtained through corruption in cryptocurrency.
At the same time, some investors doubt that it was suicide—comments such as the following are already appearing on social media: "Everyone knows that cryptocurrency can plummet at any moment, just as it can rise sharply. These are financial risks. This is a common story,“ ”If people shot themselves after every cryptocurrency crash, they would all be lying in the ground by now."
In addition, the blogger's relatives claim that psychological stress and social pressure could have been the backdrop for the tragedy. Among other things, they note that he turned to them and reported feeling depressed, and among his latest reading preferences were the books “The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat and Other Clinical Tales” by Oliver Sacks, which contains clinical stories about patients with rare disorders and makes one think about human vulnerability.
Another book was The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck: A Counterintuitive Approach to Living a Good Life. In it, author Mark Manson argues that life has meaning not because of endless positivity, but because of the difficulties we overcome. The real art is learning to choose what to spend your energy on and what to ignore.
So, these books indicate that before his death, Kudo was looking for an answer to the question: what to do when everything goes wrong.
Kostya Kudo was known for his public activities and had over 60,000 followers on Instagram. In his posts, he spoke openly about crypto and its risks. In his videos, he talked about the “illusory wealth” of his fellow crypto traders and how serious personal and financial problems can be hidden behind the glitz and glamour.
